  • Is online bill pay secure?
    Yes it is. All information is accessed via your account login only, and a secure certificate (TLS) protects your credit card and bank account information. We are committed to protecting your personal information. (For details about our privacy policy, click on Privacy in the screen footer.)
  • Is there a fee to pay my bill online?
    There is usually not a fee for a one-time payment made in full. However, if your provider allows you to set up a recurring payment plan a service charge may apply.
  • What information do I need to set up a bill for electronic payment?
    To protect your privacy we require you to authenticate your identity before we allow you access to any confidential information. You can click on the Register Now or Pay Now links to reveiw the data that your provider requires. Required information may include account number, your address, birthdate, claim, invoice number, etc.
  • What if my payment account does not have sufficient funds to cover a payment?
    We make withdrawals authorized by you from the payment account that you designate. As with any payment account, you must provide sufficient funds to cover all payments. Since we have no knowledge of your account balance at any time, we cannot notify you if your payment account has insufficient funds. There may be additional charges for payments attempted against accounts with insufficient funds.
  • Can I combine accounts and make one payment plan?
    If you are trying to set up a payment plan for more than one account please contact 304-526-2175 and a patient account representative can assist you.
  • Which browsers do you support?
    Our service supports Explorer (IE) Version 9 or higher because these versions support "strong"encryption. (Encryption allows us to cencode your information so that no one else on the Internet can read it.) Our service also supports the current versions of Chrome 51, Firefox 46, Opera 37 and Safari 9.1.
  • What information do I need in order to make electronic payment?
    All information required to make an online payment is clearly listed on the payment screens. Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*). If you attempt to make an online payment and have forgotten to complete all required fields, you will receive a reminder so that you are aware of the missing item or items.
  • The balance due on my bill doesn't seem to be right. What should I do?
    All questions regarding your account balance should be directed to customer service at the number listed. Please see the Contact Us link on the client payment website.
  • What if my payment account does not have sufficient funds to cover a payment?
    We make withdrawals authorized by you from the financial account that you designate as the payment account. As with any payment account, you must provide sufficient funds to cover all payments.   • Is it safe to pay bills online using your service?
    We are committed to protecting your personal information. Whenever you are paying bills, you are using a secure connection that fully protects your information. Data you provide cannot be viewed by anyone else on the Web. We do not share your information with anyone else. Security is maintained by industry-standard SSL/TLS (secure socket layer / transport layer security) encryption and decryption technology. The SSL/TLS protocol is used to ensure that your information is sent directly to us, and that only we can decode it. Please take notice of our security certificate listed on our online payment site. The payment site you are accessing meets all Payment Card Industry (PCI) regulations and certifications.
  • Do you use cookies?
    While you are using our service, we need to store some information on your computer's hard drive in the form of a secure cookie. (A cookie is a small file that a Web site puts on your hard drive so that it can retain information for later use.) For this reason, the cookie functionality must be enabled in your browser in order to use the digital billing system. However, the cookie will never read information from your hard drive or copy information about other sites that you visit.
  • What kind of access do you have to my banking (financial) account?
    We only have access to your account to make payments that you have authorized. We never access your payment account(s) without your authorization and, as noted above, we never have information about your account balance. Your personal banking information is never saved on our system.
  • What if I can’t pay my bill? Do you offer financial assistance?
    Staff members from the Business Office and the Financial Counseling Office are on hand to address any concerns you may have. For questions about a bill from the Hoops Family Children's Hospital, Cabell Huntington Hospital, the Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center, a CHH Family Medical Center or the Urgent Care Center, please call the Business Office from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday at 1-888-638-8555 or 304-526-2175, or dial ext. 2175 from your bedside phone inside the hospital.   • Why am I being asked to provide my email address?
    An email address is required to allow us to send the receipt of payment. Additionally, if a recurring payment is scheduled, the user will received an email reminder of the upcoming payment five days before the payment is automatically taken. Once the recurring payment is taken, the user will also receive an emailed receipt on the day of the payment.
